Your child’s STAAR test results are now available.
This year, the Texas Education Agency has a new online system to access your child’s Confidential Student Report (CSR). You can log into that system at http://texasassessment.com. You can also find detailed instructions on the Fairfield District’s website.
The CSR also has a new format this year. You can find an explanation of the new report and what the scores mean at http://texasassessment.com/families/understanding-the-test-score/.
If you have any additional questions, please contact your child’s campus. Also if you would like a paper copy of your child’s CSR, you’ll be able to pick that up from his or her campus in August.
While significant, these test scores are only one measure of our students' success. They capture how our students performed on one test, on one day.
Ultimately, though, Fairfield ISD has a more holistic definition of success. That definition includes STAAR test scores but also what students achieve in their daily work, dual credit and Advanced Placement courses, academic competitions, our career and technical program, our athletics program, our fine arts program, and in service to our community.
