Construction Progress

Bond 2025 is moving from planning to construction. Several early projects have been completed, and preparations are underway for site work to begin on the new Fairfield High School.

Fairfield Elementary School

Bond 2025 improvements at Fairfield Elementary were completed in August 2026, prior to the start of the 2026–2027 school year.

Completed Projects

• New secure vestibule at the front entrance to enhance campus security.
• New front entrance canopy to provide covered access for car rider drop-off and pickup.
• New east-side canopy to improve the car rider pickup area.

New Fairfield High School

Preparations are underway for construction of the new Fairfield High School.

Fairfield ISD Central Administration has relocated to the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Building at 961 E. Commerce Street, clearing the former administration site for construction.

Construction perimeter fencing was installed around the project site on August 15, 2026.

Upcoming Construction Milestones

• September 1, 2026: Site work begins
• September 18, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.: Groundbreaking Ceremony
• August 2028: New Fairfield High School scheduled to open for the 2028–2029 school year

Construction will continue over the next two years. Fairfield ISD will share updates, photos, and project milestones as work progresses on the new campus.
