Fairfield’s Community Recycling Event is held on the third Saturday of each month from 8:30–10:30 a.m. behind Fairfield Junior High.
The next recycling event is Saturday, Sept. 19, from 8:30–10:30 a.m.
What Can I Recycle?
Paper & Cardboard
Newspapers, catalogs, magazines, junk mail, shredded paper, cardboard, and other household or office paper. Please shred confidential documents and flatten cardboard boxes.
Plastic
Plastics numbered 1–7, including water bottles, milk jugs, and similar containers.
Metal
Metal food and beverage cans, including tin and aluminum cans. Please rinse food cans.
No sorting needed! Paper, plastic, and cardboard do not need to be separated.
Recycling is accepted from 8:30–10:30 a.m. only. Please do not drop off items early or late.

The Community Recycling Event is made possible through a partnership between the FISD Recycle Team, NRG Energy–Limestone Plant, Fairfield Rotary Club, FHS Interact Club, Waste Connections, Fairfield Police Department, and the City of Fairfield.
