Welcome to Fairfield Junior High!

A man with a beard smiles warmly, wearing a grey sweater over a collared shirt and tie.

It is truly an honor to serve as your principal and to be a part of the Fairfield community that is dedicated to helping every student succeed. I believe that every child has unique talents and it is our responsibility to provide the support, encouragement, and opportunities they need to soar at 10,000 Feet.

Our vision is centered on the Three A's: Academics, Arts, and Athletics. We are committed to providing a well-rounded educational experience that challenges students academically, encourages creativity through the arts, and builds character, teamwork, and perseverance through athletics. By investing in all three areas, we prepare our students not only for success in the classroom but also for success in life.

A key priority for our school is closing learning gaps to ensure every student has the opportunity to reach their goals. Through high-quality instruction, meaningful relationships, data-driven decision-making, and targeted support, we will work together to help them grow each day. We believe every student can achieve at high levels when provided with the right opportunities and encouragement.

Education is most successful when schools and families work together on the same team. I encourage open communication and welcome your questions, ideas, and feedback throughout the year. Please never hesitate to reach out if you have concerns, need assistance, or especially want to celebrate a student's accomplishments. Recognizing and celebrating our students' successes—both big and small—is one of the greatest joys of our work.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. Together, we will create a positive, supportive, and inspiring environment where every student is empowered to learn, grow, and excel.

I look forward to an outstanding year and all that we will accomplish together - Every student, every period, every day!

Sincerely,

Coleton Cox

Fairfield Junior High Principal
