Registration

All students must complete online registration before receiving a class schedule.

Returning Students

1. Log in to Parent Portal.
2. Click Resume Registration.
3. Click Start Registration next to your child's photo.
4. Confirm and update all required forms.

New Students

Create a Parent Portal account, then contact us to submit the required enrollment documents.

First Day of School

Wednesday, August 12

School Hours: 7:50 AM–3:35 PM

Free Breakfast & Lunch

Breakfast and lunch are FREE for all Fairfield ISD students during the 2026–2027 school year.

Families do not need to complete a meal application. However, every household is encouraged to complete the Income Survey. The survey helps Fairfield ISD receive important state and federal funding while also determining student eligibility for benefits such as college application fee waivers and ACT/SAT test fee waivers.

Elementary Teacher Assignments

Teacher assignment postcards will be mailed out August 5. Students must be registered to receive a postcard.

School Supplies

School supply lists are available online.

Walking Students to Class

Parents may walk students in from August 12-14, beginning at 7:30 AM. After the first 3 days, students will need to walk in independently. 

Doors Open

• August 12-14 independent walkers may enter at 7:15 AM. 
• Starting August 17 all students should be dropped off a the front door beginning at 7:15 AM.

Breakfast

• Breakfast begins at 7:15 AM. The bell rings at 7:45 AM for students to go to class.

Afternoon Pick-Up

Kindergarten & 1^st Grade will be picked up in the front of the building.

Pre-K & 2^nd Grade will be picked up in the back of hte building.

Students with siblings in different grades: The older sibling will join the younger at their designated pick-up location.

Car tags are required and will be sent home with students.

Please make sure your child knows their dismissal plan. For any changes, contact the office before 2:30 PM.

To view your student's report card:

1. Log in to your ParentPortal account.
2. Select your student's name.
3. Click Report Card.

All schools in our district use ParentSquare for school communication primarily with email, text, and app notifications.

ParentSquare automatically syncs with our student information system to generate an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number.
